Peran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Pembentukan Kejujuran dan Integritas Akademik Mahasiswa di Perguruan Tinggi

Abstract

Fenomena meningkatnya ketidakjujuran akademik di perguruan tinggi menunjukkan adanya krisis integritas moral di kalangan mahasiswa pada era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam membentuk kejujuran akademik mahasiswa serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendukung proses internalisasi nilai kejujuran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain survei daring, melibatkan 30 mahasiswa dari berbagai program studi di perguruan tinggi negeri dan swasta di Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert dan dianalisis melalui statistik deskriptif dan korelasi dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PAI berperan signifikan dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran moral dan perilaku jujur mahasiswa, terutama melalui keteladanan dosen, kebijakan akademik yang tegas, dan lingkungan sosial yang religius. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pembelajaran PAI berfungsi sebagai proses internalisasi nilai spiritual dan moral yang berdampak pada perilaku akademik etis. Implikasi penelitian menunjukkan pentingnya penguatan kurikulum PAI berbasis nilai dan keteladanan untuk membentuk budaya akademik berintegritas di perguruan tinggi.
